Fusing the digital and the physical, Copenhagen's mixed showcase offered 72 hours of fashion to enjoy in real life and online. The combination of classic fashion shows, video presentations, and lectures from leading industry players opened the event to a wider international audience.

Solamordesign provides our readers with an overview of the main collections for the Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021 season.

Ganni

The usual Ganni parade has been replaced by a five-part multimedia event. The collection video was accompanied by a set of Ganni's recycled products and a collection available for rent, produced in collaboration with Levi's. In an exhibition space, artist Rosie Marks created cardboard cutouts from influential fans of the brand, while Hayley Blomquist contributed to a display of fabric from recycled Ganni and Levi's jeans.

Rains

Under the title "Never Lost", Rain's SS21 presentation took place behind the scenes at Fashion Week, the transition space between the catwalk and the outside world. Amidst the lush greenery, the ultra-modern rainwear designs helped address the issues facing the industry and the world in today's climate and how they will influence the future of fashion.

Stine Goya

Stine Goya, who also resigned from the parade, filmed her presentation of the film The House of Goya in her office. The designers' drive for change resulted in a narrower range, consisting of a greater proportion of sustainable fabrics, while the collection's vibrant colors and prints reflect Goya's commitment to hope and autonomy.
